Captain’s Meeting
Friday, Aug 14, 2026 at 6:30 pm at:
Pirate’s Cove Resort & Marina, 4307 SE Bayview Street. Stuart, FL
In-person registration will be open starting 4:00pm
Boat Limit: There will be no limit to the number of boats.
Junior Anglers (12 and under, day of tournament): Fish for free and will be recognized for their catch.
Starting Time: Saturday, Aug 15, 2026 at 7:00 am. Each boat must check in via the VHF channel 69 or Text cell number:
Lines in water 7 am, and boats fishing before 7:00 am will be disqualified.
Absolutely no transferring of fish from one boat to the other.
*Registered boats may catch their own bait at any time before or during the tournament.
OFFICIAL WEIGH-IN: No Later Than 3:00 PM. There will be NO exceptions. Weigh-in Times: 12:00-3:00 pm at Pirate’s Cove. Boats planning to weigh-in fish must be in site of weigh station and called in by 3:00 pm. Your Boat Number must be visible. Fish drop off at fuel dock at Pirates Cove Resort & Marina. One person must remain on the boat during weigh-in. Please make room for other boats as expeditiously as possible.
Placement winners must attend the Bonito Blast dinner and award ceremony to collect winnings.
RADIO COMMUNICATION: All boats must monitor VHF channel 69 WITH BOAT # ON HAND
SAFETY: Each Captain and all anglers accept responsibility and liability for their own safety and the safety of their boat.
Award Presentations and Party August 9, 2025 starting at 4:00 pm Pirate’s Cove
• 4:00 -7:00 pm Music
• 4:30 pm Welcome ceremony & Color Guard
• 5:00 pm Dinner
• 6:00 –7:30 pm Awards
Tournament Prizes as follows: (one prize per boat)
• 1st Prize Bonito $2,000 (minimum payout)
• 2nd Prize Bonito $1,000 (based on 100 boats)
• 3rd Prize Bonito $500 (based on 100 boats)
• Recognition Junior Angler Awards (Bonito Only)
TIERS BUY IN – (Must by registered for the Bonito Blast tournament; Boat or Individual buy ins allowed)
- Largest Kingfish – $75
- Largest Dolphin -$75
- Largest Wahoo – $75
- Largest Bottom Fish – $50
*Tier prize will rollover to next year if that tier level species was not caught.
• In the event of a tie the earliest boat to check in will be awarded.
• If no fish are caught, there will be a drawing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd as needed.
• A boat winning a prize will not be eligible for drawing.
